Oak Staircase Construction, Barrow-in-Furness
Barrow Central Joinery were commissioned to make and install a bespoke Open Riser Oak Staircase for a customer based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. The staircase was a replacement for an existing staircase, which had to be removed. The staircase design incorporated toughened glass panels within each step to ensure light could pass through the stairs. The stairs design also included toughened glass panels on the staircase and landing, again to ensure that natural light would not be blocked.
The staircase was designed and made in our Barrow-in-Furness workshop using traditional joinery techniques by our qualified team of joiners. The staircase was then transported in sections to the customer’s property where the existing staircase was removed and the new staircase installed. Skirting boards were made good to complement the new staircase and the property was left clean and tidy with minimal disruption to the occupants.
